Chapter 132 The Troublesome Little Demon, Part 21

Shui Wuhen turned his head and caught a glimpse of Ji Xiaoxiao's determined gaze.

Silence speaks louder than words!

"Xiaobai, how come it's dark so suddenly? I haven't had enough fun yet!" Xiaoqing muttered.

Ji Xiaoxiao didn't reply, but said to Shui Wuhen, "Send her away!"

"Okay," Shui Wuhen readily agreed.

Before Xiaoqing could react, Ji Xiaoxiao and Shui Wuhen tore through space together and threw Xiaoqing to the other side of the Monster Forest.

"Xiaoqing, you must live well. If I don't look for you, please don't come looking for me."

Ordinary words, yet heartbreakingly painful—these were Ji Xiaoxiao's last words to Xiaoqing.

Following Xiaoqing's departure, the other creatures of the Magical Beast Forest also left intermittently under the strong orders of the powerful beings in the Magical Beast Forest.

The once vast Monster Forest, teeming with beasts, is now completely devoid of them.

"It's better that they're gone; we can fight with all our might now," Ji Xiaoxiao comforted herself.

Shui Wuhen kept smiling, holding Ji Xiaoxiao in a comfortable but not too tight embrace.

"Waaaaah..."

After a while, a ghostly howl echoed through the Monster Forest.

"They're here," Shui Wuhen said to Ji Xiaoxiao with a serious expression.

Ji Xiaoxiao nodded and looked in the direction from which the sound came.

From behind the large tree, people gradually emerged. They were ragged, their bodies covered in wounds, bruises, swellings, and blackened bloodstains. Even more chilling was that their eyes were rolled back, lifeless, and they walked with a shuffling gait.

"They must all be dead!" Ji Xiaoxiao confirmed.

"Hmm, but how could it be them?" Shui Wuhen was puzzled.

Seeing Ji Xiaoxiao's confusion, Shui Wuhen told her that those people were all disciples of the Qingshui Sect.

"A disciple of the Clear Water Sect?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked, "Are you sure?"

"There are my personal disciples inside, so it can't be wrong."

"Forget it, they're all dead. There's no point in grieving for them," Ji Xiaoxiao said. "I do have an idea about those people."

Ji Xiaoxiao suspected they were zombies, so she told Shui Wuhen everything she knew about zombies.

"They like blood and human flesh?" Shui Wuhen muttered to himself.

Shui Wuhen gave a sinister smile, his face contorted, and plunged the sword in his hand into Ji Xiaoxiao's abdomen.

"Make the most of everything, why don't you give it a try first!"

Thank you QQ48b1d7388c22f3 for the two flowers!

Thank you, two flowers, for in this era of infidelity, where is true love?

Thank you, Huoshui Feier, for the two flowers!

Just saying, why are there only two flowers? Can't there be more?

P.S.: Tomorrow's "torturous" part should be over. For the next story, my dears, do you want a modern campus story or an ancient palace intrigue?

Come on, pick one!

Well, personally, I prefer modern campus stories with a lighter flavor—just lots of lovey-dovey moments!
