Hamelin listened intently, but there was no sound. Reassured, she searched for a chain. She grasped the chain, and beneath the loose bricks, a slender iron box appeared. Hamelin carefully pulled out the box and then closed the flap.
Looking at the tin box, Hamelin's face showed a relieved smile.
She gently opened the iron box, inside which lay a longsword tightly wrapped in gray cloth strips. The strips were slightly loose, allowing a faint red light to shine through the sword. The red light was faint, but it seemed to flow across the sword as if it were alive.
This sword is indeed exactly the same as Yun Zhe's and the sword she initially took out, except that there is a faint red light flowing on this sword, making it appear even more sinister and frightening.
