Chapter 89 Secret Teaching 4

Chapter 89 Secret Teaching 4

◎The underworld and you in the West are not related◎

As the moon rises, the full moon is like a warm jade plate, hanging low in the night sky.

The evening breeze swept across the lake, carrying the scattered fish food into the water. The fins of the koi fish that followed it were raised, cutting into the reflection of King Su.

"Master, you have met the person. Is he to your liking?"

The middle-aged foreign monk behind him put his hands together and said calmly, "Her eyebrows and eyes are as beautiful as a painting, and her skin is as white as cream. Her appearance is suitable. But a heroic woman has stronger yang energy, so that the prince can inherit and prolong his life smoothly. I'm afraid that having beauty alone will be in vain."

King Su stopped throwing the fish food and turned to ask, "Is she not hot-tempered?"

Following diagonally behind the middle-aged foreign monk was the young monk who settled Yan Yue. The young foreign monk replied respectfully: "This girl has not made a single noise since entering the temple. She has a very gentle temperament."

"Gentle?" Prince Su recalled Yan Yue's cold rejection of him, and found it hard to believe. He couldn't help asking, "Is he scared?"

The foreign monk recalled, "She looked around as soon as she entered the temple, as if she was just here for fun. When she was tired, she asked for a hot bath, which took her an hour. She also had a good appetite and could eat two servings of food. Forgive my poor eyesight, I really didn't see that the girl was afraid."

Prince Su pondered: Does she really think she can exorcise evil spirits? Not that stupid, right?

“A-choo!”

Yan Yue sneezed, rubbed her nose and continued.

Douding sat on the bed, supporting his two front paws that were wrapped into a ball, and stared in amazement at her sitting cross-legged on the bed, chanting a spell to a black umbrella.

"Zhou Lin! Zhou Lin! Come out quickly!"

"Zhou Lin? Zhou Lin! Can't you hear me?"

Zhou Lin still didn't come out, and Yan Yue finally believed what Dou Ding said, that "monsters can't enter and evil spirits can't invade" here.

Yan Yue asked Dou Ding: "How can I break this formation?"

Douding used a small ball dipped in ink to draw "toppling the pagoda" on the paper.

Yan Yue laughed three times and said in despair, "Why don't you just let me capture the King, the abbot, and those monks and guards who helped the tyrant?"

Douding thought for a moment, then simply drew two little men and drew a knife near the neck of one of them.

Yan Yue thought for a moment and nodded heavily: "I understand! Divide them and let them fight among themselves!"

I asked you to hold one hostage and threaten him! Douding lay back in despair: I can’t save him, I can’t save him…

Unfortunately, Douding didn't have the chance to correct it, because a monk knocked on the door outside: "Girl, the abbot invites you to come over."

The few sparse thorns on the bean plant immediately stood up. Yan Yue balled up the paper and threw it under the bed. When she looked up again, she saw the determination of "facing a formidable enemy" and "fighting to the death" in Douding's dark little eyes.

"I'll change my clothes and come right over!"

Yan Yue responded and said to Dou Ding, "Wait here. If I don't come back, find a corner where no one is, dig a hole and crawl out from under the wall."

She stood up after saying this, but her sleeves sank.

When she looked down, she saw that it was Douding who had bitten her sleeve and was hanging on it like a bald-haired rat rolling around in a tantrum.

Yan Yue held him in her hands and said, "Don't make trouble. You are so small that you can be slapped to death."

But Douding bit her sleeve tightly and shook his head, refusing to let go. There was no other choice, Yan Yue had to drag him to her and give him instructions again.

"Then take the opportunity to find a safe place to hide, don't die in vain. Remember what I said, saving your life is the most important thing. Go out alive to find Qi Zhaoyang or Princess Changning, and at least collect their bodies for me. I don't want to be pressed to the bottom of that dark lake."

She picked up the black umbrella on the bed and said, "Also, don't forget this black umbrella. Let them take it away too. I put a note inside. Don't drop it."

Douding saw the contents of the note, which only said, "Give the treasure to Nanqing and Chuzhi, and see you again if we are lucky."

Douding thinks that although Yan Yue is a little stupid, he is really a good person. In order to comfort his family, he even said something like "see you again if we are lucky enough".

He nodded with tears in his eyes, but unfortunately his eyes were too small and Yan Yue couldn't see it. She wrote "We'll meet again if we're destined to do so" purely because she felt that there was a chance that she would become a ghost, and then perhaps they would really meet again.

After stuffing Douding into his sleeve, Yan Yue touched the whip on his waist, feeling a little regretful.

Alas, if only I hadn’t quarreled with Bai Chen.

If that rascal were here, not only would he tear down the pagoda, he would even rip off the roofs of all the temples!

The foreign monk brought Yan Yue to a remote temple. Yan Yue passed by this place in the daytime. The doors and windows were closed at that time, so he did not pay much attention to it.

At this moment, she was in the hall, but was stunned. The young foreign monk did not follow her in. After sending her in, he closed the door from the outside.

The statue on the lotus pedestal shows a man and a woman hugging each other tightly with their arms around each other. The man sits cross-legged, the woman faces the man, with her legs spread, sitting in the man's arms, naked as if making intercourse!

Yan Yue had heard people talk about erotic paintings, and wondered if the statue was modeled after one of those paintings. I really should bring Chu Zhi over to see this, so she won’t always say that she is ignorant!

"donor."

A sudden voice came from behind, which scared Yan Yue.

A foreign monk with a round head and face saluted her with one hand. Just by looking at his attire, Yan Yue knew that he must be the "abbot". The big monk's clothes were obviously better than those of other foreign monks. He held a vajra bell in his hand and a vajra hung on his waist, which clearly showed his noble status.

The abbot looked calm, but his eyes were bright and sharp. He asked her, "What do you feel when you see this Buddha statue?"

Yan Yue pointed at the statue and asked in disbelief, "Is this the Buddha?"

"Of course, this is the Happy Buddha."

The abbot came forward with a bell in his hand. "A visitor from the land of bliss, a god of magic from the west. After the paratha flower blooms, gold and jewels grow everywhere. He talks about the Three Vehicles, and his relics are stored in his belly. If you are born here by chance, you will be blessed to be a monk in the future."

Yan Yue said honestly: "I don't understand."

The abbot smiled slightly and didn't mind. He took off his shoes, walked onto the huge lotus-shaped cushion under the Buddha statue, sat cross-legged, and gestured to Yan Yue to sit opposite him.

Yan Yue felt that it would be difficult to run after taking off her shoes, so she said, "Master, you are welcome. I am not tired. I can just stand and listen."

The abbot smiled and said, "Donor, the Happy Buddha is the union of a male body representing the Dharma and a female body representing wisdom. They personally realized the blissful state of Nirvana where Prajna and skill are integrated into one. The Dharma and wisdom are both complete and merged into one person."

Yan Yue showed with a confused look that she still didn't understand.

The abbot rang the vajra bell and patiently advised: "The union of bliss and emptiness is the supreme practice. It requires a pious attitude to experience and transform the deep meaning of life and realize the harmonious unity between the individual and the universe. Donor, please take a seat and listen to me slowly."

Yan Yue said: "Preaching? No, no, I don't believe in Buddhism, you can figure it out on your own!"

The abbot rang the vajra bell again and said, "Donor, don't you want to go to the Western Paradise as soon as possible?"

Yan Yue was somewhat dissatisfied: "I am alive and well, why are you cursing me to death? Besides, even if I die, I will be under the jurisdiction of the underworld, which is not related to you Westerners. It is just a waste of time for me to listen to your lectures, I might as well fold more paper money to bribe the judge!"

The abbot's usually calm face finally trembled. He stood up and walked towards Yan Yue, ringing the bell as he walked and muttering something.

The aroma burning in the hall was quite strong, and the sound of the abbot chanting and the ringing of the Vajra bell blended together, making Yan Yue feel upset.

She snatched the bell from the abbot's hand and said impatiently, "It's so noisy! Stop chanting!"

The abbot was completely stunned, "You..."

Yan Yue weighed the Vajra Bell with some surprise. This small thing, the size of a palm, was surprisingly quite heavy!

“Isn’t this thing made of real gold?”

The abbot seemed to be completely out of the situation, and felt that it was a bit strange to ask this question at this moment. But before he could answer, he felt a lightness around his waist, and the vajra hanging on his waist was also taken in the other party's hand.

“That’s also true?”

The abbot finally showed anger on his face, "Donor, this is a Buddhist instrument, please... you you you you!"

With a "ding" sound, accompanied by the abbot's surprised voice, the vajra and the vajra bell collided violently. The body of the bell was deflated and the bell tongue could no longer make any sound. The vajra has nine prongs, so each prong is very thin, making it even more deformed.

"It's so soft, it must be made of gold! It belongs to me!"

Before the abbot's face turned red, Yan Yue jumped back two steps, reached for his waist and shook it, and a long black whip fell in front of him like a spirit snake.

"You stinky monk, you don't know yet, do you? I am the Heavenly Master invited by the King of Su. Your crude tricks have already aroused his suspicion, so he asked me to come here to expose you!"

The little kid, pulling at his sleeves, was shocked and desperate: This silly girl is actually trying to sow discord!

The abbot's expression changed again and again, but he soon regained his composure, "Donor, please don't speak nonsense, it will only increase your bad karma."

Yan Yue sneered: "You did such a dirty thing in the name of prolonging life, killing women and suppressing them at the bottom of the lake with a pagoda! Do you know what karma you have created?"

The abbot's expression finally changed: "How did you know that?"

Yan Yue lied with his eyes open: "Of course it was King Su who told me!"

The abbot sneered, turned around, took out a Zen stick, and said to Yan Yue: "Then let me test your skills!"

The big monk took the lead in attacking, waving his Zen staff, and the shadow of the staff was heavy, attacking Yan Yue like a mountain pressing down on his head!

No one knew what material the staff was made of, but it had a cold metallic luster. The fierce momentum brought with it a sound of breaking through the air. Yan Yue had no doubt that if she failed to dodge it, her brain would probably burst on the spot!

Yan Yue's eyebrows were raised, and disgust in her eyes became even stronger. She turned her body to avoid the attack and swung the whip at the abbot.

The abbot remained calm and held his staff horizontally, accurately blocking the attack. However, Yan Yue originally wanted to hold him back, and now that he was close to the palace gate, he went straight to pull him.

Unexpectedly, the door seemed to be locked from the outside, and in just a moment, the monk arrived with his staff.

Yan Yue dodged and the Zen stick smashed a two-foot long hole in the door quilt!

The wood chips flew onto Yan Yue's face, frightening her so much that her heart trembled. She secretly sighed: Fortunately I dodged quickly!

Swinging a long whip indoors was really restrictive, so Yan Yue could only run around the hall. Fortunately, she noticed that the monk was very concerned about the things in the hall, especially when she hid behind the Buddha statue, he didn't even dare to swing his Zen stick!

After discovering the opponent's weakness, Yan Yue began to become arrogant.

Sometimes he kicked over the altar, sometimes he pulled over the banner, sometimes he kicked over the oil lamp stand. Before long, the once beautiful Buddhist temple was in a mess and no longer a sight to behold.
