Chapter 90 Secret Teaching 5

Chapter 90 Secret Teaching 5

◎Are you worthy of being afraid? ◎

The abbot was very strong and skilled, so even though Yan Yue was flexible, he was still clumsy.

When she really couldn't avoid it, she jumped onto the Buddha statue. The big monk was afraid that he would not be able to control his strength and hit the statue, so he was also restrained by her.

"Come down!" The abbot was panting and furious!

Yan Yue grabbed the head of the Happy Buddha and challenged him: "Monks are so violent, are you sure the West will really accept you? I don't think it's necessary for someone from the West to come, the underworld will send you to the eighteen levels of hell first!"

The abbot pointed at the door with a big hole in it and said through gritted teeth: "Let's go out and compete!"

Yan Yue's eyes turned and pointed to a corner far away from the statue and the temple gate: "I'm afraid you'll attack me by surprise, so stand there!"

The abbot retreated panting. Yan Yue aimed at the only banner still standing in the hall, jumped suddenly, pulled the banner down, and dropped it onto the lamp oil below.

"don't want!"

Amid the abbot's exclamation, Yan Yue threw the burning banner onto the Happy Buddha statue without hesitation.

The hanging banners that had been pulled down earlier were scattered everywhere and caught fire as soon as they came into contact with the fire. The huge lotus cushion in front of the Buddha statue was trampled on and was terribly looked at. Because of the incense ash and lamp oil scattered on it, it was directly ignited at this moment!

The big monk howled as if his parents had died, and Yan Yue took the opportunity to crawl out of the door.

The familiar little foreign monk came forward and was stunned by the scene and the escaped Yan Yue. Yan Yue whipped the little monk without hesitation. He originally wanted to treat the monk first, but what if he whipped the little monk’s soul away?

The young foreign monk raised his arm to block, but the whip only made him take a few steps back. However, the string of Buddhist beads in his hand suddenly broke, and the round beads scattered everywhere, shocking him again!

Yan Yue's attack failed, and he didn't intend to fight. Seeing that the other party had no intention of catching up, he turned around and ran, shouting as he ran: "The fire broke out! The abbot is burned to death!"

She walked along the dark corners, watching the crowd rushing towards the Joyful Buddha Hall. She hugged Douding tightly in her sleeves and said, "There's a lot of oil in the temple. Let's go set it on fire. They'll be too busy putting out the fire to take care of us. Let's take the opportunity to slip out through the back door!"

Douding raised his sleeves to show that he agreed with the plan.

Yan Yue checked two rooms in one go, and came across the large scripture hall where the monks chanted scriptures in the morning. There were many scriptures and manuals in it, so of course he couldn't miss it!

After completing it successfully, Yan Yue hugged his sleeves and ran quickly to the backyard.

After passing through the winding corridor on the lake, the huge garden isolates the noise in front, and only sporadic sounds can be heard.

"It's bad! The noise wasn't loud enough, and the guards in the backyard didn't get there!"

Yan Yue was carefully clinging to the wall and observing, wondering whether to set a fire in the garden, when she was suddenly hugged from behind!

"I was wondering why there was so much noise, it turns out it was you who escaped!"

King Su stretched out his tongue and licked the back of Yan Yue's neck, and said with great satisfaction: "The abbot will no longer worry about your temper being not strong enough!"

Yan Yue felt a chill and goose bumps all over her body, almost shaking off.

She said quickly, "Your Highness! I have lived up to your trust. The bald abbot has just admitted that this method can't prolong life at all! He just wants to deceive you, Your Highness, into looking for beauties for him so that he can satisfy his own desires!"

King Su was immediately confused: "Ah?"

Yan Yue took the opportunity to break free and pointed to the front yard and said, "He knows that his actions have been exposed, so he is setting fire to the temple and wants to cause chaos so that he can escape!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a guard ran over and said, "Your Majesty, there's a fire ahead!"

Yan Yue quickly took the opportunity to shout: "See! I didn't lie to you!"

Just when he thought he had successfully separated the two, another guard came running over and said, "Your Majesty, the abbot said that the woman ran away and set fire to the temple!"

Prince Su looked at Yan Yue fiercely. Yan Yue felt a little guilty and could only say stubbornly, "Your Highness, there is no secret method to prolong life in this world! He really just used this to seduce and deceive you..."

"It doesn't matter."

King Su smiled an arrogant and evil smile, his eyes filled with morbid greed. "You are the last one. If I drink your blood but still don't become immortal, it won't be too late for me to kill him."

He took out a Vajra Pestle from his waist, licked the tip of the three-edged pestle with his tongue, and said impatiently: "I have not tasted the blood of the witch yet, I wonder if it is sweeter?"

"You're crazy!"

Yan Yue's long whip was like a black dragon coming out of the sea, hitting King Su directly.

There was a flash of surprise in King Su's eyes, but he was not afraid at all and stood there motionless.

The long whip was stopped by the horizontal scabbard, and the scabbard was rolled up tightly. The guards beside the King threw away their swords and shouted, "Capture him!"

"Be careful, don't waste blood." King Su added.

Faced with dozens of guards, Yan Yue had no choice but to fight to the death and wield his whip. She was surrounded by royal guards whose skills were unmatched by ordinary people. She could only rely on her nimble body to shuttle between the blades and cold shadows, whipping with the long whip in her hand.

Fortunately, whenever her whip hit someone, the guard would fall to the ground immediately and his soul would leave his body. However, because there was an exorcism formation set up here, he was trapped on the ground and completely unable to move.

Soon the leader of the guards noticed something was wrong and shouted, "Don't get hit by her whip!"

As he spoke, Yan Yue's long whip wrapped around his knife like a wave. Seeing this, the leader of the guards exerted force suddenly, trying to break free from the whip. Yan Yue took advantage of the situation, flew into the air like a flying swallow, and kicked the guard in the chest.

The guard quickly dodged to the side, but Yan Yue's move was just a feint, and he took advantage of the guard's dodge to jump out of the encirclement.

The guard's clothes were blown up by her boots. When he steadied himself, he saw Yan Yue running away. He shouted angrily, "Chase!"

Yan Yue ran to the pagoda in the middle of the lake. Her sleeves suddenly felt lighter. The little kid was tossed around in her sleeves. Finally, he couldn't hold on to her sleeves anymore and rolled down.

"Bean!"

Yan Yue bent down to pick it up, but a scabbard flew towards him.

She whipped back to block the incoming scabbard, but out of the corner of her eye she saw the abbot and his men coming from the other side.

Douding thought: It’s over, there is a tiger in front and a jackal behind! The two sides are trapped in the corridor in the middle of the lake, and there is nowhere to escape!

He ran two steps towards Yan Yue, feeling that being rescued by her, and that living and dying together, was the end of this short fate.

Unexpectedly, Yan Yue kicked him into the corner behind the pagoda, and then she jumped into the lake with a splash!

Douding was completely confused: Did he choose to drown himself because he didn't want his blood to be drained out?

The monk lost all his dignity and shouted at Yan Yue in the lake: "Get up here!"

Yan Yue was certain that they were afraid of the hundreds of wronged souls sinking to the bottom of the lake, and sneered, "Come down if you have the guts!"

Prince Su walked over, looked at the monk's embarrassed look, and said to Yan Yue with a smile: "You are the first person in history to cause such a mess here. Since you have some ability, if you come up obediently, I will spare your life."

Yan Yue stepped on the water and challenged King Su: "Who needs your mercy? Come down and catch me if you have the guts!"

Prince Su did not show his displeasure. He raised his hand and looked at his fingertips and said, "I heard that you have a teahouse in Linjiang City. I guess you have family there, right?"

He rubbed his fingers together, his cold and fierce tone revealed undisguised contempt: "You know, for me to kill a few insignificant people is as easy as killing an ant."

"Then go ahead, but don't just talk and don't practice!" Yan Yue snorted and laughed, thinking: It's all over if Nan Qing doesn't bite you to death!

It seemed that Prince Su had never seen someone so stubborn as her, and he was speechless for a moment.

Yan Yue took over the role and asked, "Why doesn't Your Majesty dare to come down? Why? Are you afraid of the countless wronged souls at the bottom of the lake?"

King Su's face finally darkened, and he said to Yan Yue fiercely: "How dare you! I will stay here and see how long you can hold out!"

"You are indeed afraid. You are worse than an animal, how dare you be afraid?" Yan Yue mocked, and then raised her voice and asked sternly: "Are you worthy of being afraid?"

The opponent was obviously forced to jump into the water in an embarrassing situation, but the majestic aura that burst out in an instant made King Su unconsciously take a step back and feel fear in his heart. He then became angry because of this momentary fear, pointed at Yan Yue and ordered everyone around him: "Catch her up for me!"

The guards looked hesitant, but suddenly they heard two faint knocking sounds on the top of the pagoda.

When everyone looked in the direction of the sound, they saw a small animal shaped like a mouse hitting the Buddha statue on the top of the tower with pebbles.

Yan Yue saw Douding waving his little paws wrapped in cloth strips wildly and pointing at the Buddha statue on the top of the tower.

Before Yan Yue could figure out what was going on, she heard the abbot say, "The Buddha statue contains the relics of the founder! We can't let her destroy it!"

So that's how it is. The key to the formation lies on that Buddha statue!

Yan Yue swung the whip without hesitation and hit the top of the tower.

But she was in the water and couldn't exert her full strength, so her speed was a little slower.

Just as the whip was about to reach the top of the tower, Douding shook his two little paws again. Yan Yue was just figuring out what he meant when, with a whoosh, a short arrow hit her shoulder.

Because the distance was so close, the short arrow was very powerful. Douding watched her being hit into the water by the inertia of the short arrow and covered his eyes in despair.

"It's wasted." There was regret in King Su's voice.

However, just as he finished speaking, the corridor under his feet seemed to shake.

Yan Yue's blood diluted in the lake water and was carried to the bottom of the lake by the frightened fish.

The guard on the veranda saw a faint flash of light under the water and asked in surprise, "What is that?"

The abbot's expression changed drastically, and he exclaimed, "It's a spell!" He looked at the intact little Buddha statue on the pagoda and said in disbelief, "How is this possible? She can actually destroy the spell on the chain!"

There was another tremor under their feet, and this time everyone felt it. Prince Su grabbed the abbot by the collar and shouted angrily, "Hurry up and think of a solution!"

"Oh, oh!" The abbot came back to his senses and shouted, "All disciples! Follow me and recite the Shurangama Mantra again!"

The foreign monks sat down cross-legged and began to chant scriptures in a low voice.

The vibration stopped as expected, and King Su's heart, which had been stuck in his throat, finally returned to his stomach. He breathed a sigh of relief, but before he could completely relax, golden light suddenly appeared from the bottom of the lake!

"What's going on!"

The abbot opened his eyes when he heard the shout, and it was as if he was struck by lightning!

"How is that possible?!"

"She's breaking all the spells at once!"
