"On the street ahead, a 2,500-square-foot villa was just sold last month for HK$12 million."
He noticed Lin Li's gaze lingering on the banyan trees in the courtyard and added, "These old banyan trees are decades old, and they provide excellent shade in the summer."
The car stopped in front of a cream-colored villa, and the iron gate slowly slid open to reveal a driveway paved with cobblestones.
Lin Li walked onto the terrace on the soft lawn, where she could see the Kowloon City skyline in the distance, but she could not hear the hustle and bustle of the streets.
The servants' room window faces the pool in the garden, where the blue water reflects the blue sky and white clouds, and the frangipani tree in the corner emits a faint fragrance.
She reached out and touched the carvings on the pillars, then turned to ask Mr. Chen, "What is the usable floor area of this building?"

Mr. Chen recited the data skillfully and handed over the floor plan.

He watched as Lin Li's fingers, which were turning pages, paused at the maid's room, and quickly added, "It's only a ten-minute drive from here to Lasa Primary School, which will be very convenient for the children to go to school in the future."
Lin Li gently tapped the pool area with her fingertip.
She opened her notebook, on which she had written down her requirements in pencil.
"She needs a quiet study, and Lin Hu and Lin Yao need enough space to move around, preferably with shade to protect them from the sun."
Sunlight streamed through the blinds, casting stripes of light and shadow on the floor. She suddenly noticed the gas meter in the corner and looked up to ask, "Is the hot water available 24 hours a day?"
"Whole house central hot water system".
Mr. Chen patted his chest and assured, "The amenities at Kadoorie Hill are top-notch in Hong Kong, with uninterrupted water and electricity supply. The residents here are all wealthy and influential, and the security measures are extremely tight, with 24-hour patrols."
Lin Li nodded in satisfaction.
"Are there a few other villas?"
"Yes!"
Mr. Chen, with a professional smile on his face, led the way.
