Dreams on a Spring Night (Part 4)

Dreams on a Spring Night (Part 4)

Bai Shunan raised his hand and slapped Li Suiwen. Li Suiwen picked up a scalpel from the pile of instruments on the table and stabbed Bai Shunan. After several beatings, the two suddenly kissed in a bloody kiss and danced wildly. Suddenly, their eyes were focused on the cabinet where their child was hiding, recording everything with an old camera.

A long time later, when the movie was broadcast, because of the connection between this clip and the third pairing, and the matchmaking of Lu Jinfeng's fans, the two of them attracted a lot of CP fans and welcomed the fourth pairing.

They opened the cabinet, took the child's hand, forced the child to hold the scalpel, dragged the child to the table, and began to dissect a bird that had died by hitting the window.

This was just a brief snapshot of the child's childhood. Later, because his parents committed suicide for love, the child was sent to his single grandmother's home with the camera, starting a life that was similar to imprisonment.

"Director, why did you arrange for Shunan and I to commit suicide for love again?" Li Suiwen flipped through the script. "Why are you still using the same old tricks to advance the story? It's too deliberate. Since we're living in the forest anyway, it would be better if we had a big argument while driving, one of us accidentally ran into the lake and drowned, and then Shunan would hold me tightly in the water, dying without giving the other a chance to be rescued."

"If you invest enough money, I will shoot it."

"How come after all these years, you're still so short of investment?" Li Suiwen rolled his eyes. "The director of the other group I joined isn't like you."

"Nonsense, your director has a lot of investors and a deep pocket. Oh, and Lu Jinfeng just came over. What a handsome guy! He said he was visiting the set, but he didn't say who he was visiting. I guess it's you..."

Li Suiwen looked around and said, "I don't see him."

"I didn't really notice him. I guess he left when they filmed you guys hugging each other and dancing. If you go out now, I might still see him... By the way, Suiwen, would you mind setting me up with someone? Let Lu Jinfeng play the ghost in my next movie."

"Come on, Lu Jinfeng and I don't get along, so there's no way he'll come to see me." Li Suiwen walked to Bai Shunan, "Shunan, you heard it, why don't you go out and look for him?

Bai Shunan thought for a while, "What if I go out and don't see him, and then I come back and he's waiting for me to find him? What will happen?"

"What can I do? Just send him a message and ask if he's still there," Li Suiwen tapped Bai Shunan's head with her finger, "You just can't wrap your head around this."

"What if he doesn't tell the truth?"

"Oh, that's something Lu Jinfeng would do." Li Suiwen smiled speechlessly, "Then let it go. It's no big deal. You two don't lack the opportunity to meet each other."

Bai Shunan put down the script, stood up and greeted the director, then walked out of the house. The leaves were so thick that the moonlight was almost invisible, and the forest in front of him was pitch black with the naked eye. He took out his cell phone to illuminate the way, and many mosquitoes took the opportunity to target him. Bai Shunan walked forward. He was never afraid of getting lost, as he always remembered the way back, no matter how long it had been.

He walked along the muddy road, identifying the footsteps of people passing back and forth from the tire tracks. It had rained earlier, and the road became soft and muddy. Bai Shunan walked forward, taking one deep step and one shallow step.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, amidst the chirping of insects, Bai Shunan finally heard some unusual movements. He quickened his pace, then suddenly stopped. He looked back, shielding his eyes from the glaring light with his hands. The dim light behind him, in the pitch-black scene, was like a lighthouse at sea, like a meteor gliding across the night sky. He saw Lu Jinfeng sitting in front of a tree, covered in mud. Bai Shunan's eyes were calm, and his tone was indifferent, "Found it."

He walked over, Lu Jinfeng looked at him and stretched out his hand to him, Bai Shunan held that hand tightly.

"This road is difficult to walk on." Lu Jinfeng stood up and said casually, "I thought you would say the road here is slippery."

"Well, it rained earlier, and the roads are slippery here." Bai Shunan looked at Lu Jinfeng carefully, wanting to know if he was injured anywhere. "Be careful. Let's go back."

"Just now I thought it was you," Lu Jinfeng smiled softly, "it really is you."

"It's me." Bai Shunan listened, his voice still cold. "Where are your assistants?"

"I let them go first. I didn't expect that I would get lost. I didn't expect that I would fall down... Do you still have a role to play today?" Lu Jinfeng wanted to end the topic quickly when he thought about how he fell down and was too lazy to get up out of self-abandonment.

"Are you hurt?"

"No." Lu Jinfeng moved his limbs after saying this, "Look."

Bai Shunan felt puzzled. He answered Lu Jinfeng's previous question, "There's still one game left."

"What about you tomorrow?"

"I'm free the day after tomorrow."

"Then let's go to the aquarium together."

"good."

Lu Jinfeng was feeling proud when he caught a glimpse of the light and shadow swaying on the ground. He looked over and said, "Look, it's so dark, but I can still see my shadow."

Bai Shunan looked down at the ground, seeing the intertwined shadows. He turned off the light on his phone, and his vision was once again filled with darkness. "Can you still see?"

Lu Jinfeng pursed his lips, a little caught off guard by this. He could feel the coolness on the back of Bai Shunan's hand, "Yes."

"Don't wander around in places you're not familiar with," Bai Shunan's voice rang out in the darkness. "Come find me and wait for me."

"Hmm," Lu Jinfeng swallowed his saliva. The spring breeze caressed his face, bringing a peaceful mood. He gently grasped the edge of the sleeve of the person beside him, gradually tightening his grip. The dark night of waiting no longer held him back. Chi Ai's figure faded by, and he seemed lost. "Okay."

Bai Shunan turned on the light, and the bright light this time swept away the worry from his brow and the melancholy that surged in his heart. He lowered his eyes and saw Lu Jinfeng's hand quickly withdraw. Even when his vision and the fire in his heart dimmed, he had already sensed it. "It's okay to wander around... Don't be afraid."

Hearing this, Lu Jinfeng turned to look at Bai Shunan. From the moment he saw Bai Shunan, he wanted to hug him. However, his hands kept retracting. Seeing the light ahead, his mind kept pausing. He just leaned closer to him, with a vague expression, "How did you know I was coming? You didn't even look at me. Did you see me?"

“…”

"Oh, you saw me." Lu Jinfeng said incoherently, letting himself become sober. "Did you often look at me before?"

"...Of course, I've been watching you for so long, don't you know everything?" Bai Shunan spoke in a listless tone, with a faint sense of death that nothing mattered.

"You and Zhong Mianqing broke up a long time ago, right?"

"you do not know?"

"How would I know if you don't tell me?" Lu Jinfeng laughed even more happily. "Then how did she catch up with you?"

"You talk a lot."

"Is it not good?"

"Yes, it's okay."

"That……"

"You don't need to be curious about this."

"I couldn't tell just now if I was waiting for you. When you came, I felt it was you."

Lu Jinfeng gently clasped his hands, a gentle warmth caressing them. He gazed ahead and hummed a tune, his hands swaying gently, naturally and calmly, his hands swaying gently. The fleeting approach brought an itchy touch. On this moonless spring night, he thought of his youthful fantasies, the figures that lingered in his dreams. He thought of these things, right beside him.

“I really want to keep walking like this until everything ends.”
