****Duquesna-class heavy cruisers****
In order to build cruisers of 10,000 tons that met the requirements of the treaty, the Vichy French Navy officially issued a design task on July 6, 1922, requiring the design and construction of the first class of treaty-type cruisers, the Duquesna class.

****Suffren-class heavy cruisers****
The Suffren-class heavy cruisers were the second generation of treaty-type heavy cruisers of the Vichy French Navy, consisting of four ships. They were named after the 18th-century naval admirals Suffren and Duplex, the 17th-century Secretary of State for the Navy and Minister of Finance Colbert, and the army general Foch.

****Algeria-class heavy cruiser****
The Algeria-class heavy cruisers were the last and most powerful heavy cruisers built by the Vichy French Navy during World War II. The class was built ship-by-ship, with only the lead ship, the Algeria, commissioned before Vichy France's surrender, marking the swan song of the Vichy French Navy's "treaty-type heavy cruisers."
