Melder manipulated the wind element in an attempt to hold the giant hand in place, but it was clear that the power of the black hole was beyond his ability to resist. After a few moments of effort, he collapsed to the ground, exhausted, and looked up as the giant hand gradually approached the entrance to the black hole.
"Meld, is there no other way?"
Maragon asked somewhat unwillingly.
"..."
Meld shook his head and did not speak.
"Although there were some unexpected events, and even though we lost quite a few orc warriors, the goal was still achieved!"
Beside the collapsed castle, the sorcerer looked at everything before him with satisfaction.
"Garp, you are indeed powerful, but I have achieved my goal, so I won't waste any more time with you!"
Hawkins and Karp fought for a few more rounds before Hawkins leaped back behind the shieldbearers, pulling them along to prepare for their retreat.
Once all the orcs here are cleared out, he will be attacked from both sides, and he must leave immediately.
Fortunately, Garp did not intend to force him to stay. When he spoke, Garp stopped looking at him and instead leaped towards Meld and Maragon.
"Bang!"
Karp landed.
He quickly ran to Meld's side, took Meld's arm with his right hand, and helped him to his feet.
"Didn't you say that Joey gave you a Soul-Protecting Stone?"
Karp was excited and eagerly reminded Meld.
"Yes, yes, the Soul-Protecting Stone!"
Meld immediately looked enlightened, stretched out his left hand and made a grasping motion in the air, and an egg-sized stone emitting a faint brown mist appeared in his hand.
Without delay, he immediately threw the stone in his hand and waved his staff, using his remaining mental energy to manipulate wind magic to send the Soul Protection Stone to Joey's side.
Without thinking twice, Joey caught the Soul-Protecting Stone he had given away and rushed toward Catherine.
