Seeing Joey freeze, the monster opened its mouth and bit down on his left arm. Joey cried out in pain, and the torch fell to the ground.
"Oh shit!"
Joey quickly followed with his right hand, stabbing the monster's leg with his sword.
"roar!"
The monster roared and immediately sprang away.
Joey looked at his arm; a piece of flesh was missing, and a lot of blood was flowing from the wound.
"I should have donated some blood beforehand, what a waste!"
Ignoring the pain, Joey prepared to chase after the monster.
The monster's leg was injured, and it seemed unwilling to continue fighting.
She suddenly spat out a string of spider silk towards the roof, bringing her entire body up to the roof as well.

Joey raised his longsword, pointed it at the monster on the roof, and began to launch into a barrage of verbal attacks.

Suddenly, she extended a long proboscis from her mouth and slowly approached Catherine's abdomen, looking just like a mosquito.
Joey's pupils dilated instantly. It seemed this monster was going to use Catherine as a blood bank, draining her dry to repair its injured thigh.
"Don't!"
"Don't suck her, suck me instead, I'm easy to suck, she's just a few ounces of flesh with not much blood!"
This wasn't because Joey had a change of heart; rather, he felt that if Catherine really died here, he would be at a huge loss!
The bearded man's fate is unknown, the promised 100 gold coins have not yet been delivered, and there is still a considerable reward to be received for escorting him to Saipan. He can't let this investment go to waste; just thinking about it makes his heart break.
