Chapter 234 The Coffin of Delirium (2)

It was… taking him away.

Bai Di was forced to move forward inside the black-scaled monster's body. The surrounding flesh was soft yet resilient, as if he was wrapped in a ball of living plasticine.

Each contraction brought a slight feeling of suffocation, the sticky liquid soaked his clothes, and the temperature with a metallic smell clung to his skin. He tried to struggle, but as soon as he raised his arms, a severe dizziness suddenly hit him -

This monster seemed to have some kind of paralyzing effect in his body, causing his muscles to become weak and his consciousness to become erratic.

"What is this..."

His emotions were always stable, but at this moment he couldn't help but curse through gritted teeth. The darkness in front of his eyes suddenly faded away, replaced by a hazy dark golden light.

Only then did he realize that he was not completely enclosed in flesh and blood - the monster's body was like some kind of translucent cavity, and through the flesh wall, he could vaguely see the outside world.

When he saw this, his pupils suddenly contracted.

What was rapidly passing by outside was a group of black buildings with strange shapes.

Sharp angles, twisted towers—all structures seemed pieced together with blades, glistening with a cold, metallic sheen under the dim sky. They stood in a chaotic pattern across the wasteland, some leaning and poised to collapse, others soaring into the sky, like the ruins of some mad civilization. Even more bizarre, these buildings weren't static—they were slowly wriggling, reorganizing themselves, growing like living things.

Bai Di's temples throbbed. The dizziness persisted, but the sight before him forced him to focus. He raised his hand and pressed against the flesh surrounding him. It felt warm and elastic, a slight pressure creating an indentation, yet once he let go, it would instantly return to its original shape.

"Where the hell are you taking me...?" he asked breathlessly, knowing that the monster might not understand.

However, the next second, the flesh wall suddenly contracted violently!

Bai Di groaned, his body arched by the sudden pressure. Through the translucent cavity, he saw the rapidly changing scene outside suddenly stop—the monster stopped.

Then, the flesh enveloping him began to loosen and open from top to bottom, like a strange flower blooming. A sticky liquid slid down his body, and fresh air rushed into his nostrils. Bai Di stumbled out of the monster's body and fell to one knee. The dizziness still lingered, but his fingers subconsciously clasped the weapon at his waist—if that thing was still there.

He raised his head and his pupils suddenly contracted.

Before them stood a towering black spire, vaster than any other structure they had encountered along the way. Its body was covered in fine golden patterns, flickering and pulsing with a rhythmic pulsation, like breathing. The gate at its base—if it could even be called a gate—was formed from countless wriggling chains, and now it slowly parted, revealing the bottomless darkness within.

The black-scaled monster growled behind him, but the voice was no longer violent, but instead carried a certain urging tone.

Bai Di slowly stood up, wiped the remaining mucus on his face, and his eyes were gloomy.

"You'd better give me a reasonable explanation."
