A very enjoyable read that will have you snickering one moment and crazed the next. The antics are hilarious, fun, and boy, am I glad that the family is harmonious, especially enjoyable their interactions when eating melons. I am also so happy that the system got its own happily ever after! Totally a fun read. If you want something fun, lighthearted, and just looking for something to enjoy, try this.

It was great at first because even though the ML is usually missing, at least the interaction between Pei Ziheng and Mingzhu is shown. I thought it would be an enjoyable cooking novel (since she was a food blogger before) But as more chapters keeps adding up, more characters keep showing up, I tend to forget who's who and there is less interaction between the Mingzhu, Pei Ziheng, and Pei Yang plus the added family drama of Mingzhu's family just makes me want to gnash my teeth in frustration. I don't even know how to describe Shen Baolan. She's like a leech or something that just won't die or just won't stop causing trouble. She keeps jumping around and seems to not learn anything with all the trouble she has gotten herself into. This novel, I wanted to enjoy, I really did as it was initially enjoyable, but as I read on, I just wanted to pound my head on the wall with all the frustration, the blood boiling... sigh.. if you want to have your mood ruined, carry on reading.

Some parts felt a bit rushed especially nearing the end, but overall it was an enjoyable read
