Rewriting the Ending of a Massacre Comic Completed

Goal: Survive before the war starts!

Transmigrating into a comic as a disposable cannon fodder… Normally, you could live smoothly by clinging tightly to the protagonist’s thigh.

Either cling to the male and female leads.

Or cling to the villain.

Either way, someone will protect you.

The problem? This comic is a capitalized "BE" (Bad Ending)!

Every main character—including the male and female leads and the villain—dies!

There are thighs to hold onto, but they’ve been chopped off!

In this world doomed to be destroyed by war, you have two choices:

Become the male lead’s ally, fight tirelessly, and die on the battlefield.

Stay far away from the male lead, enjoy the fleeting peace before the war starts, and survive for as long as possible.

Obviously, anyone would choose option 2, right?

...Right?

“If no one told me this was love, I’d think it was just a bare sword pointed at me.”

Features:

Dual male protagonists (no romantic pairing between them).

Supporting characters may have romantic subplots.

A thrilling yet comedic story.

Worldbuilding:

Set in a Western fantasy world with elements of rebirth, time loops, mechanical punk, magic, wizards, and knights.

The original comic had no romantic relationships, as the male and female leads fought side by side as comrades, meeting their end on the same day.

The novel spans four volumes:

Exploration

Politics

War

The Final Battle

Ending: A happily-ever-after conclusion for all characters.

It tells a story of love without physical relationships.

Themes:

Rebirth, second chances, and overcoming despair.

"When people rise from where they’ve fallen, they become even stronger."
