He gripped Aileen's neck, his tall figure completely overshadowing her. His eyes were so red they seemed to drip blood. Leo stammered:

"How dare you smile at him like that—"

"You're not allowed to smile at anyone like that—"

But the woman beneath his fingertips tilted her head and kissed his bulging, veined arm.
