Dan Yun, fed up with his parents' divorce drama, impulsively requests a school transfer and is sent by his parents to his grandmother's house thousands of miles away. Upon arrival, he meets Zou Weichen, M High's top science student in last year's college entrance exam. After enrolling, due to some coincidences and the meddling of the goofy school hunk and his friends, Dan Yun has various interactions with Zou Weichen...

Zou Weichen, A City's top science student last year, got into the coveted Q University. He is seen by everyone as an obedient and sensible outstanding student, yet he chooses to return to school for another year of studies.

After getting to know each other, Dan Yun enjoys teasing Zou Weichen, unaware of his actions, and finds inexplicable pleasure in seeing the tips of Zou Weichen's ears turn red. He also likes to include Zou Weichen in his activities, not only to show off but also because the top student will unconditionally comply with him.

After graduation, a suddenly enlightened Dan Yun boldly confesses. Unexpectedly, the always well-behaved, bunny-like top student is actually a sly fox.

Dan Yun: You used to be so serious, blushing and getting shy at a single word or look from me. H-how did you learn to flirt back?

Zou Weichen: I was just pretending, luring you to take the bait.

Dan Yun and Zou Weichen, each with their own不愿提及的往事 (unpleasant past experiences they don't want to mention), learn to reconcile with themselves and let go after meeting each other. During their youth, they play, encourage, and accompany each other, growing together.

Warnings:

Mutually virgin, first love, not a fast-paced or overly dramatic story. The plot is very everyday, lighthearted but sweet, also a bit bittersweet. Slow-burn romance, HE.

Both protagonists are 18 years old at the beginning and only start dating after graduation. The first half is about their acquaintance and school life, the second half is about their love life after graduation.

The supporting character Jiang Zhe will be prominent in the early stages, but it's all to advance the protagonists' relationship. He's purely a tool.

Some melodramatic and unrealistic plot points are just to pave the way for their relationship.
